MLH was established by Michael Langley, originally known as Mike’s Light Haulage with a single Mercedes Sprinter Van.
Mike got his second van and his first employee, as his business began to take off.
1994 brought the second driver to the team, his original idea of a thriving business was coming to fruition.
Jamie Langley ventured into business, following in his father’s footsteps, creating JML Haulage.
JML Haulage and Mike’s Light Haulage joined forces to form, what we know today as MLH Transport Ltd.
In 2012, Martin (Mike's son) joined the business as a Business Development Manager. Martin brought his contacts and experience of working for major retail businesses.
In 2014, after 2 years of hard work pushing the business forward, Martin was made Commercial Director and given shares in the business. Also in September 2014, we moved to a new large site in Haddenham with warehousing and a large HGV parking area, with business growth in mind.
In 2017, we joined the United Pallet Network (UPN). Offering their clients with a larger range of options, including next-day and economy delivery services.
In 2019, we opened its second warehouse facility in Earith, expanding our storage capabilities, in line with growing demand. Also in August 2019, a business decision was made to join Palletforce to provide a more economical and professional service.
In 2023, we once again saw expansion with the opening of its new Ely Depot, allowing for increased warehousing space and HGV parking, to support the expanding fleet of vehicles.
Following our first audit, we were incredibly please to receive a AA Standard, the highest grading achievable.
